For banks and funds

Enter trade finance without building it.

Banks, non-bank lenders and credit funds use TerraTrade to run supply chain finance programmes on infrastructure and an operating team that already exist, under their own brand, on their own credit policy.

Technology, operations and capital infrastructure, taken together or separately.

The gap

The product is proven. The plumbing is the problem.

Supply chain finance is not a new product and the credit case is well understood. What stops institutions offering it is everything around the credit: onboarding counterparties across jurisdictions, checking documents at volume, keeping screening current, orchestrating a process that spans weeks and three companies, and being able to show an examiner exactly what happened.

Assembling that from point solutions leaves you integrating four vendors and owning the seams. Building it internally is a two-year programme competing for the same engineers as everything else on your roadmap.

The third option is to take the operating layer as it is and put your own product, brand and credit judgement on top of it. That is what this is.

  • One integrated environment rather than four vendors and the seams
  • Your credit policy and your brand, from day one
  • Managed operations available while you build your own desk

Where to start

Three entry points.

Most institutions begin with one and add the others. They are separable on purpose.

  1. 01

    Launch a first programme

For institutions entering supply chain finance. Platform and managed operations together, so the programme runs while your own capability is built behind it.

  2. 02

    White-label the platform

For institutions that already have the credit and the clients, and need the operating layer. Your brand, your domain, your policy, isolated tenancy.

  3. 03

    Embed specific capability

For platforms and lenders that want one part, such as document checking, KYC and KYB, screening, or settlement, inside a product they already run. API access to that capability alone.

What the platform covers

5+ products
Payables, receivables, distributor, inventory, order-to-pay
Weeks to live
For a configured programme with a pilot cohort
Multi geo
APAC, US and European corridors on one back end
Row level
Tenant isolation enforced by the database

Product availability depends on the corridor, the structure and your regulatory permissions. Some products require capital partners or licensed providers.

What each covers

Technology, operations, or both.

The three services overlap deliberately. This is what falls inside each one.

Who it is for

Built for regulated institutions and capital providers.

Not for startups or individual businesses, which are served by the finance products directly.

01 Commercial banks
Offer supply chain finance to corporate clients without a multi-year internal build, under your own brand and credit policy.
02 Non-bank lenders
Add structured trade products to an existing working-capital book, with the operational layer and team included from day one.
03 Private credit and family offices
Deploy into short-dated, self-liquidating trade assets with asset-level visibility and operational cover.
04 Fintechs and platforms
Embed working capital into a product your customers already use, or replace an ageing trade system with one environment.

Questions

What comes up in the first meeting.

Are you the lender, or the software?

Primarily the software and the operating team. TerraTrade provides technology infrastructure and services; regulated financial activity sits with you, your licensed partners, or capital providers introduced separately. Where a structure involves our capital relationships we will say so explicitly rather than leave it ambiguous.

What does the commercial model look like?

Revenue-aligned rather than a large upfront licence. We would rather scale with your portfolio than bill you for a build. The specifics depend on scope, products and volume, and we will put a concrete model in front of you at the proposal stage.

How do you handle our regulatory and audit requirements?

Every workflow step is journaled as it runs, and every decision is recorded against the record it belongs to with its reason and evidence. That is the part examiners actually ask about. We will provide architecture, control and data-flow documentation for your risk and compliance teams, and take part in their review.

Which certifications do you hold?

Ask us directly and we will tell you exactly where we are, including what is in progress rather than complete. We are not going to imply a certification we do not hold on a marketing page.

Can we run more than one programme or brand?

Yes. Multi-tenancy is the architecture, not a feature: separate programmes, brands or client books run as isolated tenants on one back end you administer.

What if we already have an origination front end?

Then use the platform behind it. The API-first design means onboarding, document checking, screening and the process engine can sit under a front end you already own.

Next

Bring your awkward case.

Forty-five minutes, no slides. Bring a real onboarding case or a programme you are scoping, and we will walk through how it would run, including the parts that are not built yet.

  • A walkthrough on your process, not a canned demo
  • Straight answers on gaps and timelines
  • The commercial model in concrete terms
